Job Summary.
ROLE FROM: 16th to 27th of July.
We are seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in commercial driving within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Safely operate a ford transit van, with multiple deliveries per day around London and the home counties.
- Reliability and punctuality- it is crucial that you are able to start at 07:30 every morning and finish at 16:00.
- Confidently navigate around London, avoiding speeding fines and PCNs.
- Heavy lifting of boxes, ladders etc.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for commercial driving purposes
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify potential issues early
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes as required
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual tasks

Pay: £12.21-£22.01 per hour
