About the Role:
The Client Manager is responsible for the production of high standards of departmental work. This means completing their own workload, allocating and reviewing the work of team members and being a strong role model for the vision, mission and values of the organisation. The role requires a quality focused individual who is organised, and deadline driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent level of service to a small portfolio of Clients which meets and exceeds their expectations.
- Manage an allocated Client portfolio in a manner which ensures that the required standards of compliance and service are achieved and sustained at all levels.
- Support the Director to ensure day to day activities are completed within the timeframes and requirements set.
- Ensure planning processes meet client needs and statutory deadlines.
- Review team files to ensure all standards, quality and compliance requirements are met and issues identified.
- Give feedback on the quality and standard of work produced by junior team members and highlight areas for development.
- Develop skills and knowledge relevant to a full range of clients and utilise that knowledge to deliver a great service and to develop colleagues.
- Build strong relationships with Managers, team members and clients to facilitate the completion of work to deadlines.
- Ensure the correct client documentation is received in a timely and efficient manner to ensure deadlines can be met.
- Ensure self and team members follow all legal and statutory requirements.
- Develop own and team members systems knowledge and expertise to improve utilisation.
- Communicate challenges, opportunities and ideas for improvement to Managers to improve working practices.
- Represent Xeinadin to the client ensuring that the day to day is delivered ensuring a focus on innovation and the future.
- Deliver the Xeinadin vision and values.
- Represent the firm internally and externally a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude. ·
Role Specific:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and advise on all aspects of their business to help them grow, reduce tax and plan for the future
- Hold client meetings to review performance and set targets
- Review work for Juniors and assist with their training and development
- Build strong relationships with professional contacts,
- Manage all aspects of client relationship including, quoting, agreeing services, invoicing, payment method and annual engagement renewal
- Report to the Directors/Partners on portfolio performance and internal targets set
Key Requirements:
- ACCA, ICAEW of IFA – Fully or Almost Qualified
- 4+ years practice experience preferred
