Salary & Financial Package
£40,000 – £42,000 starting salary
- £1,000 guaranteed salary increases at 6 and 12 months

The Role You will:
- Conduct 3 PIP assessments or 5–6 WCA assessments per day (telephone and face-to-face)
- Review medical evidence and functional impact
- Analyse how health conditions affect daily living and work capability
- Produce clear, structured, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
A non-treatment, adult-focused role centred on clinical reasoning and professional judgement.
Training & Support No previous assessor experience required.
You will complete a fully paid 12-week comprehensive training programme covering:
- Assessment methodology
- DWP frameworks and guidance
- Professional report writing and IT systems
Ongoing mentoring and clinical support is provided throughout your career.
Who We’re Looking For Registered healthcare professionals (adult-focused) with:
- Active NMC or HCPC registration
- Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Confident IT and typing ability
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
