Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Clinic Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards across two clinical environments. One in Frinton-On-Sea and the other in Walton-On-The-Naze. This role involves performing thorough cleaning tasks during weekends to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital environments, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Pay
£13.00 per hour, paid monthly.
Shifts
Saturday 1:30pm to 4pm at Frinton-On-Sea Site (Each week) 2.5 Hours
Saturday 4pm to 6pm at Walton-On-The-Naze Site (Fortnightly) 2 Hours
Sunday attendances can be discussed. Attendance times can be flexible within reason.
Products, Equipment, and Training are provided at site.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect clinical areas, including examination rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and corridors
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised according to health and safety regulations
- Dispose of general waste materials appropriately and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, we do not dispose of medical waste.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the clinic during scheduled shifts
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow infection control protocols strictly to prevent cross-contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of infection control procedures within healthcare settings is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to arrive promptly for weekend shifts
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to clinical environments
