Sealed Unit & Glass Fabrication Operative
We are currently looking for an experienced Sealed Unit & Glass Fabrication Operative to join our busy double-glazed sealed unit and glass manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in double-glazed sealed unit production and glass manufacturing and will be able to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pairing and sealing double-glazed units.
- Cutting and processing glass and mirrors.
- Manufacturing Duplex bars, Georgian bars, and leaded windows.
- Manufacturing products accurately to customer specifications and drawings.
- Maintaining quality standards while meeting production targets.
- Handling glass safely and following all health and safety procedures.
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe.
- Driving a company van to carry out deliveries when required.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in sealed unit manufacturing or a similar role within the glass industry.
- Experience in glass cutting and processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with measurements.
- Ability to read and work from production specifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Physically capable of safely handling large sheets of annealed and toughened glass, lifting and moving heavy materials, and carrying out the manual handling duties required by the role.
This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, so the successful candidate must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: £25,396.80-£30,000.00 per year
