As Paralegal within the Casualty team, you will support the management of a varied caseload of personal injury related claims. This role offers hands-on experience across the lifecycle of claims, including investigation, evidence gathering, and case preparation.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, clients, insurers and other stakeholders, gaining valuable exposure to litigation processes and developing your technical and organisational skills.
The role is primarily office-based, with attendance expected 3–4 days per week in Belfast.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing a caseload of personal injury claims, including Employers Liability (EL) & Public Liability (PL) under supervision.

Conduct legal research and support case preparation.

Draft legal documents, correspondence, and briefs for solicitors.

Review and assess Employers Liability (EL) & Public Liability (PL) insurance claims, including identifying potential fraud indicators.

Gather and analyse evidence such as CCTV, accident reports, and witness statements.

Prepare court bundles and support document filing processes.

Maintain accurate records using the firm’s case management system.

Liaise with clients, insurers, and external parties to support case progression.
