Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Classic Car Technician to join our specialised team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs and maintenance on classic cars, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for assembly and disassembly tasks
- Conduct equipment repair and maintenance to ensure workshop safety and efficiency
- Execute welding tasks as required for structural repairs or custom modifications
- Assist in the realignment, restoration, and optimisation of vehicle performance
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally
- Undertake heavy lifting safely when handling parts or components
Requirements
- Proven experience with classic car restoration or repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Experience with assembly processes and maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform equipment repair efficiently and safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and electrical systems is desirable
