Our well established international client is seeking a dedicated multi-task Warehouse Good-In/ Container Operative immediately
This position requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and relevant experience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal intervention to process stock entering the business from containers received
Duties
- Using a Hand Scanning gun to log shipments into business
- Transport stock to picking stations ensuring accuracy of coding / tractility
- Use WMS to manage goods inwards
- Usage SAP / EWM system
- Data entry and labelling
- handballing heavy deliveries FROM containers weighing up to 25kg
- Walking up to 20,000 steps per shift
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is absolutely necessary.
- Use of Hand Scanning guns (minimum 1 year)
- Competent on a computer
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems , SAP or WMS .
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse workforce.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Picking / Warehouse Operative to join a well known company from their national distribution centre based on Stafford Park.
The hours of work are:
Monday to Friday: 6am / 8am start to 16:15pm
With a rate of pay of:
£12.24ph - Monday to Friday up to 39 hours, overtime payable £16.32ph to £24.48ph
This position will be working 12 full working weeks through Swift Temps Ltd, being paid weekly, before being offered a permanent contract with the company directly.
Pay: £12.24-£25.48 per hour
