Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to a high standard.
- Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour while representing the company on-site.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
