Coding Teacher
Superstars is looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals to run coding camps for children over the summer holidays. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for coding, who is looking to gain hands-on experience in teaching children and working in a fun, engaging environment.
Job Type:
- Self-Employed basis.
- Wage: £115 per day.
- DBS Enhanced, updated of 3 years is required.
- If you do not have a valid DBS certificate, one can be arranged for you but please note a fee of £50 will be deducted from your wages, after 10 days of working for Superstars, we will refund you the payment.
- A driver’s license is advantageous but not a requirement as long as you are able to travel.
- All materials required to run the coding camps will be provided for you.
Job Role:
-using Sphero equipment for children to be able to do various challenges to program their robot to do said tasks
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all children have a fun, engaging and creative session.
- Have the ability to adapt sessions to varying age groups and skill levels.
- Able to effectively communicate with children and assist with any challenges they may have in their work.
- Have a basic understanding of child safeguarding and be able to appropriately supervise coding sessions, ensuring all health and safety measure are consistently met.
Job Requirements:
✔ Comfortable and competent working with children.
✔ Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not a requirement.
✔ Enthusiastic, patient, and willing to engage in hands-on activities.
✔ Ability to explain coding techniques clearly and effectively.

- Knutsford

Availability for the job role:
- 27 july until 20 August 2026 - Monday to Thursday
Shifts will be from 07:45am-16:30pm, occasionally you may be required to stay till 18:00pm for late pick ups, you will receive an additional £19 for late pick up shifts.
