£16.64 per hour - Nights

Two shifts available, to choose from
4 don, 4 off,
Days 06:00-18:00
Nights 18:00-06:00
Breaks: 1x 30-minute unpaid break & 2x 15-minute paid breaks
Job Type: Permanent role, with overtime opportunities. The work environment will be fast-paced.
Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to support the setup and transition of a new warehouse operation in Amesbury. Initially, successful candidates will be based at the main site in Salisbury to begin with, assisting with the warehouse setup and launch. Once fully operational, the role will relocate to Amesbury.
The Warehouse Operative will support the efficient flow of goods to and from production and external customers, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and full compliance with company policies, food safety, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure vehicles are unloaded and dispatched on time and within set deadlines
- Accurately complete all internal and external documentation
- Pick orders for production and external customers
- Consistently achieve departmental KPIs
- Comply with all Food Safety, Legality, and Quality standards
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures in line with company policies
- Maintain cleanliness by following the “clean as you go” policy
- Manage stock rotation to minimise low-code or expired products
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Report any operational or departmental issues to the Supervisor or Manager
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
Health, Safety & GMP:
- Always follow Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse in line with GMP standards
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults immediately
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- IT literate, with experience using Excel and warehouse management systems (e.g. M3 or SAP)
- Experience in warehouse operations within the food industry (desirable)
- Familiarity with the Quadex Technical system (desirable)
- Self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Forklift Operators – Additional Requirements:
- Trained and certified to operate FLT/MHE equipment
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks (lifting up to 25kg)
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete daily equipment checks and report faults or malfunctions
