Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee PSV Drivers. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your driving skills within a professional environment. Successful candidates will gain valuable experience in the transport industry and have the chance to progress into fully qualified PSV drivers.
This position will require a training bond to be signed prior to the training commencing. All applicants will be subject to an interview and driving assessment prior to any funded training being offered.
Duties
- Assist in the safe operation of passenger service vehicles (PSVs) under supervision, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Support with vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle condition reports
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide excellent service.
Qualifications
- Valid Category B driver licence is required with no more than 3 penalty points; candidates should be willing to undertake further driver training for PSV certification
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
