Vanguard Contracting Services are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Door Joiner to join our subcontractor network across Hampshire. This role covers fire door installation and maintenance alongside general carpentry duties, working to a high standard of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, remediate and maintain fire doorsets in line with manufacturer guidance and relevant standards
Carry out fire door maintenance and repairs, including ironmongery adjustments/replacement
Carry out fire door surveys
Complete general carpentry works as required on site
Record accurate compliance evidence (photos, measurements, reports)
Use digital systems such as OneTrace / Bolster (or similar)
Ensure all works meet BM TRADA / third-party certification expectations
Maintain high standards of site safety, housekeeping, and client communication
Must-Haves
NVQ in Carpentry (essential)
CSCS card
BM TRADA experience in both fire door installation & maintenance
Experience using OneTrace / Bolster or similar compliance tools
Own van and tools (essential)
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: £200.00-£230.00 per day
