Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to join our growing team in the following subjects:
- ICT Teacher
- Maths Teacher
- History Teacher
- Business Studies Teacher
The successful candidates will inspire and engage students while ensuring excellent academic progress across KS3 and KS4. You should have the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the wider life of the school.
Essential Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Degree in the relevant subject area (ICT, Maths, History, or Business Studies)
- Experience teaching KS3/KS4 within the UK curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge with an engaging teaching style
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Supportive of the school ethos and extracurricular activities
- Knowledge of GCSE specifications and UK exam boards
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide additional support and intervention where required to improve learning outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best educational experience for students.
- Participate in professional development to remain up to date with curriculum changes and teaching strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised teaching qualification in the relevant subject.
- Experience teaching KS3/KS4 in UK schools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience supporting students with SEN is desirable.
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic potential.
