Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner Level 3 to join our childcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with young children, supporting their development and learning in a nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
- Support children’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth through personalised care and attention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support individual learning plans.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Lead small groups of children during activities, ensuring inclusive participation for all children.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nappy changing, and outdoor play.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities that enhance the children's learning experience.
- Support the management team in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare recognised within the UK.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between settings or activities outside the nursery premises. Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
