Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including sanitising surfaces and equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar serving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
