Poultry Worker for Part-time position
We are looking for a motivated person to work within a small team on a poultry farm located in Etton.
The role is to help out on a modern free range hen site.
20-25 hours a week usually from 7.30am-12.30pm and able to work weekend is a must.
Daily duties
The day to day running of the site involves ensuring birds have feed and water, grading eggs, and collecting eggs laid outside of the nestbox, while maintaining biosecurity protocols.
We are looking for someone with an interest in working with animals and ensuring the birds have the best care and all welfare standards are upheld.
The successful candidate must not have any contact with other poultry for bio security measures.
Experince with poultry is not essential as full training will be given, also ability to drive a tractor or keen to learn is essential.
Rates of pay will be dependent on the applicant.
