Lockout Tagout is a small, enthusiastic business providing industrial Safety solutions to a wide range of clients across the UK and overseas.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and positive individual to join our team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
The Role
This is a varied office administration role that will involve dealing with customer and supplier enquiries, supporting the accounts function, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure our office runs efficiently.
The successful candidate must be confident communicating by telephone and email, well organised, accurate and able to work as part of a small team.
Duties
- Answering telephone and email enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
- Creating invoices from purchase orders
- Preparing quotations, invoices, purchase orders and bills using our accounting system
- Supporting general office administration duties
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying, scanning and filing documents
- Supporting the team with other administrative duties as required
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an office administration role
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience using QuickBooks or a similar accounting system
- The ability to create quotations, invoices, purchase orders and bills accurately
- Good attention to detail
- A positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to work
- The ability to work well in a small team
- A proven excellent attendance record
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
