Overview
We are seeking a dedicated part time Pest Control Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest issues in residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify pest activity and entry points
- Develop customised treatment plans based on inspection findings
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using safe and effective methods
- Advise clients on preventative measures to minimise future pest issues
- Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and client interactions
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and used in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Follow all environmental guidelines when handling chemicals or pesticides
- Attend ongoing training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices
Skills
- Proven experience or strong interest in pest control or related fields
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to explain procedures clearly to clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to chemical handling and pest management is advantageous
