Expanding Our Operations
Due to company growth, UKFF Solutions is expanding its operations and is seeking dedicated individuals based in or near Cardiff.
Ideal Candidates
We are looking for candidates who are clear communicators, eager to learn new skills, and possess strong organizational and timekeeping abilities. You will be actively involved in all aspects of work on a daily basis.
While some construction experience is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with other backgrounds. You will work as part of a fantastic team, traveling to various sites in the UK to prepare areas for lorry arrivals and subsequent work.
Most of our job types involve podium decks, tanking, rendering, concrete repairs, waterproofing, gas membranes, and screeding. Notable sites we have worked on include Hinkley Point and Microsoft.
Please note that approximately 95% of our work requires traveling away from home, but we can offer flexibility with local work when available.
Training
UKFF will provide training in medium risk confined spaces, and potentially high risk. We also offer training for IPAF, HGV, PASMA, and CCNSG. All necessary training will be conducted through our in-house programs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have a CSCS card
- Strong work ethic and ability to be proactive
- Valid driving license
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous construction experience
- Skilled worker
- Labourer experience
Attributes Needed
- Must have at least 4 year’s recent proven experience as a tradesperson
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be detail oriented. Attention to detail is critical.
- Must be organised and clean and tidy. Health and Safety is paramount.
- Must be available to work on to finish task lists if required
- Must be available to work one day at occasional weekends if required
- Must be willing to travel to projects
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be aware of waste. Must be forward thinking and ensure waste is minimalised.
- Proficient in the use of power tools
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting salary: £32,000per year (Includes working away)
- potential salary increase from £32,000 to £35,000 after probation
- Base salary plus £30 for food each night on top of your basic pay while working away.
