Job Summary
The role involves leading and supporting projects for Simplify clients, managing project plans, risks, and stakeholder engagement. You will help shape project approaches, deliver insightful progress reports, and facilitate workshops to produce high quality artefacts. Additionally, you’ll contribute to internal initiatives and provide thought leadership in Wealth / Insurance / Technology.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead consultancy engagements with Simplify clients, providing change delivery capabilities, this will include, but not limited to plan definition, tracking and reporting.
- Deliver against plans, managing stakeholders and working across multiple engagements on a diverse range of client projects.
- Operate effective project governance structures in support of change delivery.
- Document robust Risk Management, addressing delivery and operational risks in projects.
- Deliver concise, insightful, accurate and timely reporting on project progress in support of decision making.
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders to assure engagement delivery and influence decision making to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Determine resource requirements and capabilities and manage project resources to tasks and deliverables.
- Develop as-is and to-be process maps, identifying controls and process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements and understand processes both remotely and face to face.
- Work with other members of the Simplify team to meet the delivery objectives and bring a tenacious delivery mentality to the engagement.
- Work on internal initiatives bringing project rigour and experience to progressing activities that enhance the Simplify proposition.
- Provide thought leadership and insight based on your knowledge of wealth/insurance/technology, products and process.
- Support Simplify’s corporate social responsibility commitments, including charity fund raising activities.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience of working in project management/business analysis/ops change within the Wealth/Insurance/Financial Services industry.
- Experienced change professional with success in delivering change initiatives within Wealth/Insurance/Technical business areas.
- Understanding of delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.)
- Strong understanding of business processes and how technology supports business change.
- Proven strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present information professionally and confidently.
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently to produce high quality outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to use own initiative with a pro-active mindset, identifying, escalating and resolving issues.
- Demonstrated Wealth/Insurance knowledge, including technology, products and processes.

Pay: Up to £90,000.00 per year
