The Role (Temp Fixed Term for 3 months initially)
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all fabrics leaving our mill meet our exacting standards. You will be responsible for inspecting loom state fabrics directly from production.
Key Responsibilities
· Inspect woven fabrics for faults, inconsistencies, and finishing defects
· Grade fabrics in line with company quality standards
· Carry out hand mending and repairs to a high standard
· Record inspection findings accurately
· Work closely with Production, as well as the Quality Manager
Skills & Experience Required
· Previous experience in textile inspection, weaving, or fabric mending preferred
· Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for quality
. Manual handling of rolls, including handling equipment where appropriate
· Good manual dexterity for fine repair work
· Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
· Reliable, methodical and quality-focused approach

· Monday to Friday Double-Day Shift - alternate weeks of Earlies 5.30am to 2pm (1pm on Friday) and Lates 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Thursday only (5-day week of earlies and 4-day week of lates)
