Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, demonstrating strong management and leadership skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of children in a nurturing environment. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills in English and hold relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare.

Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and physical growth
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Assist with organising outings or trips, including driving when necessary
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and childcare environments, preferably within a nursery setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence
- Organised with the capacity to plan activities and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
