We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Cleaner to join our team in Accrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for a Commercial Client. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous cleaning experience to contribute to a professional environment and ensure spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure optimal hygiene standards
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
- Ensure all areas are left tidy, sanitised, and presentable at the end of each shift
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests from management
- Key Holder Duties
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and promptly
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards cleanliness standards
