Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 36 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9-5
Location: Bromley Civic Centre
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week office attendance
In Bromley, we are committed to providing services to assist people in finding and maintaining housing solutions which meet their needs. We are looking to recruit a Rough Sleeping Co-ordinator to lead and empower the Single Homelessness Pathway Team. The team currently work with single people, who could be rough sleepers, hospital discharges, ex-offenders, refugees and vulnerable complex customers.
The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who has the ability to promote an innovative approach to problem solving and can provide high quality support and guidance to a multi-disciplinary team. The Housing Options Service has a strong focus on performance management and financial reporting. They work cohesively with the Department Levelling Up, Homes and Communities and other sub-regional boroughs to deliver the local/regional rough sleeping delivery plan. The ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, customers, accommodation providers and partner organisations to achieve successful outcomes for our single homeless applicants (who are primarily rough sleepers) is essential for this role. Experience in customer engagement, especially with vulnerable people is also helpful.
As well as experience in offering housing advice and assistance to customers, you will also have knowledge of statutory homelessness legislation and obligations.
