Westwood Residential Care Home is nestled in the heart of Chorley, close to the town centre and in walking distance of the bus station.
We are looking for a candidate who may have had previous experience in a working kitchen, if not you must be an experienced who is able to prepare and cook healthy home cooked meals.
- The job role is for a kitchen assistant.
- Salary is dependent on age
- You must be able to work on your own yet be part of the team.
- Your role as the kitchen assistant, will involve assisting the cook with meals for up to 20 elderly residents, some of whom may require special diets, you will need to help prepare and serve meals.
- We expect high levels of cleanliness and food hygiene training would be essential.
- Full induction and training will be provided.
- Any offer of employment will be conditional to having satisfactory DBS check
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.75 per hour
