Wealth Management/Financial Adviser Administrator

We are a small, friendly financial advisory practice based in Burgess Hill, looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join our close-knit team.
This role is office based and is suited to someone with previous experience within a St. James Place, IFA, wealth management, financial planning, or similar regulated financial services environment who understands the importance of providing high-quality administrative support to advisers and clients.
Working closely with our advisers and wider team, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the business, maintaining excellent client service, and ensuring our processes and administration are completed to a high standard. The role is office based.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to financial advisers
- Preparing client documentation, reports and meeting materials
- Liaising with clients, providers and professional contacts
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
- Supporting compliance and regulatory administration
- Managing correspondence and general office administration
- Assisting with client servicing processes and adviser workflows
About you:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in administration within a St. James Place Practice, IFA practice, wealth management firm, financial planning business, or similar financial services environment
- A basic understanding of ISA, Bonds and Pensions is essential
- Familiar with the requirements of supporting financial advisers and managing client-related administration
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients and professional contacts
- Reliable, approachable and able to work independently
- Comfortable working within a small team where everyone plays an important part
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
