Casa Felicia is a neighbourhood Italian restaurant in Queen’s Park, inspired by the warmth, flavours and hospitality of Southern Italy. We are looking for a confident and service-driven General Manager to manage the day-to-day running of the restaurant and help lead a strong team.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to develop their management career in a quality, food-led restaurant environment.
The Role
As General Manager, ensure smooth daily operations, excellent service standards, and a welcoming guest experience. You will be actively involved on the floor, leading by example and supporting the team during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily running of the restaurant
- Lead shifts and ensure high service standards at all times
- Supervise, train and motivate the front-of-house team
- Assist with staff rotas, labour control and day-to-day staffing needs
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences and handle feedback professionally
- Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times
- Support stock control, cash handling and basic financial procedures
- Maintain health & safety, hygiene and licensing compliance
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience as an General Manager, in a quality restaurant
- Passion for hospitality and guest-focused service
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Hands-on, organised and reliable
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience in Italian or Mediterranean restaurants
- Wine knowledge or interest in food-led dining
- Ambition to progress into a General Manager role
