Trainee Foundry Operative – Port Talbot
Pay: £13.11 per hour + 12.5% shift allowance when working shifts
Location: Port Talbot (SA12)
Hours: Full time, rotating shifts. Week 1 days, Week 2 afternoons (2:00pm to 10:00pm)

About the Role
We are recruiting reliable, hardworking Trainee Foundry Operatives to join a well established manufacturing operation in Port Talbot on a temp to perm basis.
No foundry experience is required as full training will be provided. What matters most is a strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn. A background in factory, production or industrial work would be an advantage, as the role involves working in a warm, physically demanding environment.

Duties
- Supporting the foundry and production team with day to day operations
- Assisting experienced operatives with casting and finishing processes
- Moving materials and components around the site
- General production and housekeeping duties
- Working safely and following all site health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic, reliability and good attendance
- Comfortable working in a hot, physically demanding environment
- Factory, production or industrial experience preferred but not essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Able to commute reliably to Port Talbot
