We are hiring for our client, a growing mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects across Ireland, seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join their Newry-based team. This M&E Coordinator job offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from early design through to construction handover. The successful M&E Coordinator will play a key role within a developing pre-construction function, working closely with clients, consultants, and delivery teams.

The Role:
- Lead mechanical coordination from pre-construction to handover
- Chair coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Act as technical liaison across all project stakeholders
- Manage digital project setup (Procore and client systems)
- Identify and resolve coordination issues early
- Report progress to senior management
- Support development of pre-construction processes
- Mentor junior team members
The Person:
- 3+ years' experience in mechanical/building services (design, coordination, or technical)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems in construction
- Experience at design or pre-construction stage
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full driving licence and eligible to work in Ireland/UK
- Proficiency in MS Office (Procore/BIM tools desirable)
- Exposure to heat pumps, ventilation, HIUs, or BIM advantageous
