We’re working with a rapidly growing renewable energy business that is transforming how power is delivered across construction and infrastructure projects. Combining solar PV and advanced battery storage systems, they’re leading the shift toward cleaner, smarter energy solutions.
This is a mobile, site-based role covering the Southern region, where you’ll be working directly with customers to install, test, fault-find, and maintain critical energy systems.
The Role
As a Mobile/Site Electrician, you’ll be at the front line of delivery—ensuring systems are installed, maintained, and operating safely and efficiently on customer sites.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing position with a strong mix of technical and problem-solving work.
Key responsibilities:
- Installing, commissioning, and maintaining solar PV and battery storage systems
- Diagnosing and resolving faults across ELV and LV systems
- Carrying out inspection, testing, and certification in line with BS 7671
- Attending breakdowns and completing remedial works on-site
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Working directly with customers, ensuring a professional and efficient service
- Ensuring all systems are left operating safely and to the highest standard
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident, capable electrician who enjoys working on-site and solving problems in real time.
Essential:
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Valid ECS Card
- Strong experience in fault finding on ELV and LV systems
Desirable:
- Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Background in solar PV or renewable energy
- Experience in a site-based or mobile role
