Overview
We are seeking a reliable Semi Skilled Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assisting with the operation and maintenance of machinery, supporting assembly processes, and ensuring smooth workflow within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems and be comfortable using hand and power tools. Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery according to safety and operational guidelines
- Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly fitted and secured
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Support warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and organising stock
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues or safety hazards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with assembly processes is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
