Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitality Assistant Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about catering, serving, and delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. Previous restaurant experience, barista skills, bartending, and knowledge of food safety are highly desirable. NOTE : START DATE 1ST SEPT '26
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the hospitality team to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to uphold quality standards
- Manage catering arrangements for events and functions, ensuring client specifications are met
- Assist in training staff on customer service, food safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas in compliance with health regulations
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
- Support the recruitment, scheduling, and performance management of team members
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation and service
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential
- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and staff
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members towards delivering outstanding service
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends if required
- A personable attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
