Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trader to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of trades, including roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, and more. Responsibilities
- Perform roofing repairs and installations with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installations
- Carry out welding activities for structural repairs and fabrication projects
- Handle electrical work such as wiring, socket installation, and circuit troubleshooting
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively across different trades
- Execute construction tasks including plastering, masonry work, and carpentry
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Undertake construction painting to achieve desired finishes
- Fabricate components as required for specialised projects or repairs
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
Skills
- Proven experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, or related trades
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt to diverse tasks
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour across various trades
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and clients as needed
