Weekend Assistant required for a busy sandwich counter and shop at Londis Abbotsbury Road.
Londis Abbotsbury Road Sandwich bar/shop and bakery is a fast paced, busy environment.
Successful Candidates will be reliable, interested in serving customers, with speed, whilst delivering excellent customer service.
No previous experience is necessary however, a passion for fast paced work and previous food shop/counter work would be an advantage.
Responsibilities Include but are not restricted to :
- Taking Customers Orders , face to face and occasionally over the phone.
- Preparation of Hot and Cold Sandwiches / wraps / pasta / salads etc.
- Clean ups including washing up and a daily clean down.
- Restocking fridges on the shop floor with bakery items.
- Preparing orders for our online delivery service, Snappy Shopper.
- Preparing Sandwich and Roll orders for our sister Londis store in the town centre.
- Serving customers on the shop counter
- Filling shelves/stock rotation
- Various other tasks which ensure the smooth running of the business
Applicants must be good communicators, energetic and ready for a fast paced day.
Job Type: Part Time, 16 hours per weekend, however more hours/days could be available should they be required.
This is a permanent position. The hours will be Saturdays (8:00am-5pm) and Sundays (10am-6pm) these shifts include a half hour unpaid break to be scheduled each week at the time of doing the rota.
