WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE POSITION AVAILABLE – IMMEDIATE STARTS
Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Prestwick, Ayrshire KA9
Pay Rate: £14.57 per hour
Overview
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our client’s rapidly expanding distribution operation based in Prestwick (KA9). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing work within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment operating across 7 days per week.
Shift Details
- 2 x 12-hour shift patterns available
- 10:00am – 22:00pm
- 06:00am – 18:00pm
- Possible 04:00am starts depending on operational requirements
- 7-day operation with weekend availability required
- Ongoing work available
- Flexible shift patterns
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading packaged goods for distribution
- Palletising and preparing products for dispatch
- Heavy handballing duties included throughout shifts
- Handling goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment
- Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area at all times
Requirements
- Must be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting throughout the shift
- Must be able to drive due to shift start times and location
- DBS check will be required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
