The Role We are seeking an experienced Fire Stopper to join our growing team. This is a permanent position. You will be responsible for the installation of passive fire protection systems across a variety of environments, including residential housing, care homes, and commercial premises. Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire stopping solutions to small and large service penetrations
- Use of a range of approved fire stopping materials and systems
- Accurate interpretation of drawings, specifications, and site plans
- Working within occupied and live environments, including confined spaces
- Ensuring all works meet customer expectations, company standards, and third-party accreditation requirements (including BM TRADA)
- Consistently achieving agreed productivity and quality targets
- Maintaining clear communication with the Passive Fire Manager regarding progress, risks, or delays
- Adhering to company quality procedures and Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and professional standards of the company vehicle
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in passive fire protection installation
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (preferred but not essential)
- BM TRADA card (preferred but not essential)
- Licenses PASMA and IPAF certifications are a must
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach on site
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Pay: £26,437.00-£36,000.00 per year
