Salary: £12.71 an hour
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working within a production environment where plastic pellets are handled and processed into rubber matting products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handballing and moving bags of plastic pellets.
- Feeding materials into the production process.
- Assisting with the manufacture of rubber matting products.
- Monitoring production processes and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
About the Role:
This is a physically demanding position that involves manual handling throughout the shift. The working environment can be dirty and dusty, so applicants must be comfortable working in these conditions.
Ideal Candidate:
- Comfortable working in a dusty and industrial manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory experience is advantageous but not essential.
