Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Hygiene Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring food safety standards are maintained across our operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and storage areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Analyse hygiene practices and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement hygiene protocols aligned with industry regulations and best practices.
- Monitor cleanliness levels of equipment, surfaces, and facilities, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of food safety awareness.
- Document inspection findings accurately and prepare reports for review by senior management.
- Assist in training staff on hygiene procedures and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated with current legislation and industry standards related to food hygiene.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or food safety roles is highly desirable.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
- Knowledge of relevant food safety legislation and hygiene standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£50,465.43 per year
