Your contribution will be to work on this with the Management Team.
The home is GOOD / R. I - CQC Rated Home with an established team .

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Consultant specialising in care homes to join our team on an interim part-time basis. Duties
- Analyse current operational procedures within care homes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise efficiency, quality of care, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide expert advice and support to care home managers on best practices and operational challenges
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on new procedures or policies as required
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports to inform decision-making processes
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and legislation
- Support management during audits and inspections, ensuring all documentation and processes are up-to-date
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in management within the healthcare or social care sector, preferably in care homes
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing adult social care services
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to identify operational improvements
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with staff at all levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the interim role
- Relevant qualifications in management or healthcare are desirable but not essential
