THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate repair estimates while ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service throughout the repair process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting damaged vehicles and producing accurate repair estimates
- Preparing repair methods using recognised estimating systems
- Liaising with technicians, insurers, engineers, and customers throughout the repair process
- Identifying additional damage and updating estimates where required
- Monitoring repairs to ensure work is completed to agreed standards
- Ensuring all estimates comply with manufacturer and insurance guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting efficient workshop planning
- Delivering excellent customer service from estimate through to vehicle handover
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator who takes pride in producing accurate assessments and delivering exceptional customer service.
You should have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator / Bodyshop Estimator
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and Bodyshop processes
- Experience using industry estimating systems such as Audatex or similar
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong eye for detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- A customer-focused approach with a professional attitude
- A full UK driving licence
