Duties
- Carry out a range of trades including carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical tasks as required.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Fabricate and modify materials on-site to meet project specifications.
- Install, repair, and maintain building structures and systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during projects and implement effective solutions promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work.
- Demonstrable proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to various trades.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials used in construction projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are desirable but not essential if experience is substantial.
