HGV Class 1 Driver
General haulage work. Class 1 day and night drivers needed.
Monday to Friday
Days: start times 0400
Nights: start times from 1600
Drivers will deliver on a mix of curtains and boxes delivering to RDC's across the UK.
Duties
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle logs.
- Comply with all legal requirements related to driving hours, tachograph regulations, and licensing standards.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
- Valid drivers CPC and digi card
- No more than 6 points - we cannot insure and DR's, DD's or IN's.
Weekly pay -
- £18 per hour for day drivers
- £19 per hour for night drivers
