We Are Seeking a Café Supervisor
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our café operation within a busy, high-footfall independent store. As Café Supervisor you will oversee the full running of the café leading the team, working with the Store Manager , driving performance, maintaining high standards, and ensuring a consistently exceptional customer experience.
This is a hands-on role requiring both front and back of house involvement. You will be expected to lead by example, supporting the team during service, maintaining operational standards, and bringing fresh ideas to the business.
As a small independent café, we offer genuine flexibility and the opportunity to have real input into menu development, events, promotions and the overall direction of the café.
Hours
- 30 hours per week (depending on the needs of the business)
- Must be flexible across all 7 days of the week
- Must be available for evenings due to events
As an Applicant, You Must Have:
- Proven experience in managing or supervising within a café or food service environment
- Experience in a high-volume coffee environment
- A positive, confident and open-minded attitude
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- A passion for high-quality food, coffee and customer experience
- Commercial awareness and the ability to support sales growth
- Weekend availability
Front and back of house experience is highly desirable.
