We're looking for an ambitious childcare professional who is ready to develop into a successful Registered Manager. About the Role:
As a Trainee Registered Manager, you'll be involved in every aspect of running a children's residential home. You'll learn how to lead teams, maintain high-quality care standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, is passionate about making a difference, and is committed to providing children with safe, stable, and nurturing homes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Day-to-day management of the home.
- Leading shifts and providing guidance to the staff team.
- Promoting a positive, child-centred culture.
- Supporting staff recruitment, induction, supervision, and development.
- Monitoring the quality of care and ensuring safeguarding standards are consistently met.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and other professionals.
- Assisting with audits, quality assurance, and Ofsted compliance.
- Developing the leadership skills required to become a Registered Manager.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience working within a children's residential home.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Confidence in leading and motivating others.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or willing to work towards it
- Experience either in a Deputy Manager or Homes Manager position
- Full UK driving licence.
