Warehouse Operative
We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative working daytime, to become part of our operations, committed to providing a first-class service to our customers.
You will be a highly motivated, well-organised, hard-working team member working at our warehouse in Thorpe Satchville, (near Melton Mowbray) Leicestershire, predominantly picking and wrapping up auto parts, loading couriers when needed, and container unloading.

Scope and Purpose of the Role
To provide accurate and prompt picking, packing, and dispatch of the warehouse goods.
The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.

Job details
- Opening warehouse hours - Monday to Friday 7am-4pm and Saturday 8am-1pm.
- Full time - 37.5 working hours per week on a pro rota basis within warehouse opening hours.
- Additional hours are required during busy periods in order to meet the needs of our customers.
- £14.36 p/h during probation period and after that £15.36 p/h.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given on site.
A full driving license is essential.
Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)
- Pack customer orders (mainly car parts) to achieve agreed targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
- Co-operate fully with the site's safety requirements.
- May be asked to make customer deliveries and move stock between warehouses
- Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork accordingly
- Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
- Stock rotation and stock-taking
- Manual handling of products
- Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
- Stock integrity and quality checks.
- Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.
