MAT Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable general cover teachers to work across a network of partner schools in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work, whether on a day-to-day, short-term, or longer-term basis. We have Secondary and Primary roles available.
This role is available for an immediate start, with opportunities to begin work as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Provide general classroom cover in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom needs
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Teaching experience in educational settings
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and confident teaching across year groups
- A proactive and professional attitude
Essential Requirements
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references
