Job Summary – College Cleaner - E15 1AH MUST HAVE VALID DBS
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team at Pioneer FM Ltd for a college setting. This vital role ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises, helping to maintain a safe, pleasant, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain all designated areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management in a timely manner
- Adhere strictly to established cleaning protocols and health & safety procedures
- Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively and responsibly
- Support occasional deep-cleaning or special project tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with all relevant safety regulations
Terms and Conditions
- Position: Cleaner
- Shift : 2 hours per day (between 4:30pm – 6:30pm) Monday to Friday
- Weeks: Term time only (37 weeks per year, aligned with the academic calendar)
- Pay: £14.80 per hour
