We are seeking Trainee Setter's to join our clients manufacturing team. The Setter will be responsible for preparing, programming, and operating various machinery to produce high-quality plastic components efficiently and accurately. This role is vital to ensuring smooth production flows, maintaining product standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with advanced manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Working Monday to Thursday - Option of day (5.45am-6.15pm) or night (6.15pm- 5.45am) shift.
All overtime paid at time & a half.
Responsibilities
- Operating Modern Profile Lamination Machines: The Setter will be required to run various modern profile lamination machines.
- Performing Size Changes and Basic Maintenance: This role involves performing size changes and basic maintenance on the machines.
- Quality Control Checks: Quality control checks are an important part of the daily routine.
- Health and Safety Procedures: Adhering to health and safety procedures is essential.
Person Specification:
- Flexible attitude to working hours.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and fault finding.
- Good literacy and numerical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive can-do attitude.
