1st Fire Services Ltd is seeking skilled and dependable Passive Fire Protection Operatives to support our expanding portfolio of national projects. We deliver high‑quality fire protection solutions across mainland UK and are looking for experienced professionals who can uphold our standards and work efficiently within a fast‑paced construction environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the installation and application of a range of passive fire protection systems, including but not limited to:
- Intumescent coatings to structural steel
- Firestopping systems and penetration seals
- Cavity barrier installation
- Structural fire‑resistant boarding and encasement
Operatives will work nationwide, operating from our Midlands‑based facility.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in passive fire protection or a related construction discipline
- Strong understanding of fire protection installation standards and site compliance
- Valid CSCS card
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
